We recently held another Berlinale Talents Reconnect, where our alumni community comes together online to discuss current issues, work opportunities, hurdles, whatever is pressing for them at that moment. This time round they had the chance to ask one of our Mastercard Enablement Programme fellows, Laura Bermúdez of Tercer Cine - Espacio Alternativo, all about the application procress, which is currently underway, getting helpful, practical advice for their own applications. They also had the unique opportunity to put their questions on all things film submission to the heads of Berlinale Shorts, Anna Henckel-Donnersmarck, and Berlinale Generation, Sebastian Markt. And lastly, as always, there was space for discussion on projects, work opportunities, collaboration and other topics our alumni community can help and support each other with. It was another energising and inspiring session, and great to catch up with so many of our Talents family again!
