I used to believe my body defined my worth. If I’m thin it meant I’m worthy. I ignored all external factors and put my appearance into one box, it’s thin or nothing. Actually my weight fluctuates all.the.time. My body changes shape constantly and it’s due to a bunch of factors including: My stress level How much I’m travelling The type of exercise I’m doing The season My work schedule My happiness Whether I have a kitchen or not! Ofc it varies on what I’m eating too, but that can be reflective over a lot of the above factors. I scrutinised the shape of my body for 20 years, what for?! Now I view it as this incredible organism that changes as I try to navigate life’s challenges. Life is stressful enough, don’t add your appearance into thar stress factor list ❤️
