Today we held our 2nd Annual Pie Baking Contest at the Thursday Marin Market and it was simply ins-PIE-ring. We had 8 beautiful pies made by a farmers, marketeers and community members - our three community judges had their work cut out for them. Many of the pies were made with fruit from the market. It was the PIE-fect, sunny day and fun was had by all! The winning pie, a delicious estate grown Apricot Pie was made by Brooke from Ramini Mozzarella. Lots of people had their eyes on the pies! Be sure to congratulate the top pie-ze winner - Brooke - when you see her!!
