Today is the official first birthday of my EP, SOFIA, I love her. Since this release, I can say that I truly feel relieved. I suppressed this strong urge to pursue being an artist for a long time and now that I’ve fully allowed myself to be and do what I’ve always wanted to do, I feel a sense of freedom. For years before I ever had any songs written, I used to visualize myself writing in the studio and performing my own music for people to sing along to. This year I did all of that and more.
