Hari Nef will be taking a walk on the wild side as trans actress and Andy Warhol muse Candy Darling in an upcoming biopic, Deadline reports. Darling was one of the first women who could be considered a trans icon, starring in Warhol’s groundbreaking film "Women in Revolt" and serving as a muse for Lou Reed and the rest of the Velvet Underground. Before that, though, the film will follow her childhood on Long Island to her years as a member of the East Village-based La MaMa Experimental Theatre Club and beyond.
