"This is one of the pictures I imagined when I think of Turkey. Rooftops and seagulls. I’ve seen pictures from this view so many times but didn’t know what to expect myself. So here’s what to expect:⁠ ⁠ • There is no food or real drinks outside of complimentary tea/water because it’s not a real cafe or anything. Just a beautiful rooftop with an incredible view and props to bring your shots to life.⁠ ⁠ • The birds are attracted by a man throwing chunks of chicken in the air 🤢. So even though I got many pics with lots of birds, obviously they’re real birds and they do their own thing so this shot that I really loved doesn’t have as many. 🤷🏾‍♀️⁠ ⁠ • I actually got pooped on at the end of this shoot 🥴🙃.⁠ ⁠ • The entrance fee is around 100 Turkish Liras (£12/$13.50 USD) if you bring your own phone or camera. They also offer a photography package that needs to be booked at least 2 days in advance.⁠ ⁠ • It gets busy at sunset, so go before 7pm to beat the crowd or super early in the morning (they open at 8am).⁠ ⁠ • You can also hire out the Taht for your own personal sunset dinner and shoot for 3.5 hours at a cost of 3000 TL (£XX/$400 USD).⁠ ⁠ I suggest bringing your own camera or hiring your own local photographer like I did and making this a quick photo stop on a day tour of Istanbul." - @bellaworldwide // 📍Istanbul, Turkey⁠ ⁠ Tag someone below who you'd love to visit this rooftop with! #Istanbul #Turkey #melanintravel
