Yesterday was not the end to the 2022 season I had hoped for, but I still walked away with a solid second-place finish at the Diamond League final with 4.76m. I have some internal demons I have been fighting, and I let them get in my way mentally yesterday. I think a step back from the sport for some rest and a solid pre-season build up for next year will really help me achieve the mental game I know is there, it’s just been hiding from me 😉. Now, I get to rest, reset, and enjoy an incredible season added to the books! (And finishing a season healthy and strong is always an achievement in itself!)
