For my birthday, I’m looking back on the past 365 days, and hope my journey can inspire someone going through something similar. Keep going. Healing is not linear. 35 was a roller coaster. Seven surgeries. Stupid cancer. So many high points beyond my wildest dreams. AMAZING colleagues and partners. So much love and so many resources. People who never left my side. Newborn niece. Reconnection. A summer to remember. “Landslide” campaign win. Incredible client wins. Even made some news yesterday. (I love my work, and survived + thrived throughout!) To all my family and friends that are family, thank you sooo much for your support. And to those close to me who were unaware — your celebrating of my wins (esp @obsidianworks & @woodfinforbham) and not my losses is exactly what kept me achieving.
