I could not believe the chilling talent that was standing right behind me (@bladeinthecrowd) while I was stopping to chat with some friends on my way back to the hotel room. I already had some favorites from the convention, but this one stopped me in my tracks. I had to shoot with him. I immediately regretted that I was not in a more picture friendly environment with all my tools, so I had to improvise and just shoot the best damn picture I could with what I had on me, and against a white wall nonetheless 🤦‍♂️ with every person in the crowd trying to get his picture as well, I knew I had to be quick about this setup and not waste this God Tier Master craftsman's time.. So my blood went cold when I saw my background light misfire and turn off on the first shot. The battery was dead. But how freaking lucky of me that walking out of the bathroom I set this up in front of, @azur_seven saw me scrambling and heard me say, "you gotta be kidding me... The battery's dead on this one.. I'm going to have to shoot this single light on a white wall.." and guess who had a spare ad200 battery? Azur7 did. Thanks for coming in clutch my dude. These images wouldn't exist in this tone if it weren't for you.
