I just finished reading City of Girls by Elizabeth Gilbert and lived it so much! This book is all about old New York and the Theatre scene before the war, it has a lot of glitz about it, but also a lot of heart as well and such strong characters It's only .5 off 5 Stars because the pacing could be a bit wild at times 😅 For example 'let me tell you about the next 20 years of my lifeline the last 100 pages of the book (but somehow it still really worked) #booktok #booktokfypage #justread #bookreview
