How would you represent Caribbean Culture for the biggest African American Festival in the USA? Aka @essencefest ? It comes with an International collaboration with some of the most talented and passionate creatives from the Caribbean, Africa, UK and USA. An entire diasporic union beginning with meticulous impassioned designs by @melissasimonhartman bringing both traditional and Afro futurism in the most amazing fashion, throw in the crowd pleasing expertise of my St.Lucian brother of @afrosocalove, who brought people to their feet, add in the colour and vibrance of @euphoria_mas costumes, as straight outta New Orleans performers @lalahmsmith @bunmitheartiste @imankeilah @blackmanbakari @melanized_ @__queennll @shvkiel and on stilts @mccormickngozi, Zohor Lee and your homegirl. 💃🏾 Holding us all together is the incredible @jyarde.
