Do you have oily hair? Here are some hacks to manage it! Sebum production is largely decided by genetic factors or internal factors. 1. @redken Deep clean dry shampoo now in ✨jumbo size✨ is your best friend. Apply liberally and let it SIT!!!! Powder is good! The powder component is what absorbs the oil. It needs time to do that, so don’t brush through right away!! 2. Try a Sulfate shampoo! Yes yes I know... sulfates BAD. WRONG. I love sulfate free as much as the next girl, but it’s by nature more hydrating and doesn’t provide as deep of a cleanse on the scalp. It’s amazing for normal- dry scalps but oily may feel not clean enough after a shampoo. - Redken Extreme Bleach Recovery is NOT just for “bleached hair”. It’s for anyone! It has a gentle SLES sulfate, is silicone free, and is fortified with cica to leave your hair feeling stronger and softer. 3. Ensure proper scalp health! Make sure you actually scrub your scalp when shampooing. I have a how to shampoo video uploaded in my reels section. Don’t just mush shampoo around, manipulate your scalp to ensure it’s free of debris and sebum! 4. Brush out your dry shampoo! If you see powder residue, you can always hit with a blow dryer super fast. Style as usual and add a serum to hydrate the ends! #oilyscalp #oilyhair #dryshampoo #dryshampooislife #redkenshadeseq #redkendeepcleandryshampoo #deepcleandryshampoo #sulfatefree #sulfateshampoo #redken #redkenobsessed #redkenformula
