I’ve never had to start a new chapter without my loved ones in close proximity. So, while this new chapter is exciting, I miss not having them nearby. Though, I’ve come to realize, life is about sacrifices and balance. Make no mistake, I’m very happy to be here, to see what I can both contribute to the city, as well as experience all of its offerings. Navigating your destiny is a beautiful, yet scary thing. Knowing that you control maybe 85% of it. While I’m two thousand miles away, in a new territory, with much to explore and connect for myself—I know between the lessons my mother has taught me and being spiritually guided, I should be fine.”
