I first shared my deeply personal and vulnerable story with my wife @SophiaBush. Now I’m sharing it publicly, as a man supporting women. Your rights have been blithely taken from you, and from the future Grants who want to support the women in their lives. I never thought I would share this publicly, but I also never thought we would see settled law be reversed, dismantling women’s rights across the country. The rights women had at the time to autonomy and to privacy were guaranteed. Now, for women, they are gone. But it is not just women and pregnant people who have abortions. It is not just they who benefit from access to reproductive care. Both partners in a couple—who have abortions—benefit from the privacy, the autonomy, the choice. I’m to speaking up now because the support of men matters, the voice of men on this issue matters, the advocacy of men on this issue matters. Now more than ever. So, my fellow men, it’s time to speak up. Yes, for your wives, your daughters, your future daughters, your friend’s daughters, and your female friends, but also for everyone.
