Feeling a bit sentimental about Oz closing tonight. My heart is overflowing with love and gratitude for this special opportunity. Please bear with me as I share a few thoughts. I would be remiss to not acknowledge the incredible support system I was gifted with on this project. @mollieclaire_catherine, @ericbanthony, and @nick_berninger for being my rocks. @duffystuff for having my back. @mrheitz and @roby_robbie for creating a fun playground to play in. @rjmoller and @wigginoutbz for designing one of the most incredible costumes I’ve ever had the honor of donning. And, of course, the folks over at @talenthouseny for continually believing in me. This role holds a special place in my heart. The last show I had the gift of doing with my sweet brother, Caleb, before he passed away was the kids camp of “The Wizard of Oz” at Casa Mañana in 2012. I was a part of the Lollipop Guild, and Caleb played the Tin Man. To now have the opportunity to tackle this role has been equally challenging and rewarding. I do believe I have made him proud in the process of navigating my own capacity to open myself up to such a difficult emotional landscape. From the moment I received this offer, I have dedicated this role to him. Every time I bow, I blow Caleb a kiss.
