Out today is The Wind by @balmorheamusic. This record is an absolute stunner front to back. I've wanted to make a record with Michael and Rob for years now. In the fall of 2019 we found our paths crossing and we began recording The Wind. Basic tracking was done at Nils Frahm’s studio in Berlin. We brought it back to Long Pond to overdub and mix. All the tracking and mixing was done on separate Siemens/WSW consoles. The acoustic guitar songs were recorded straight to 8-track 1" tape. I’m so proud of what we made together.
