COSTUME NIGHT!! 🌊💓 Such an incredible night getting to represent Hawaiʻi for the Parade of State Costumes!!✨ Being from Hawaiʻi, people are taught the value of Mālama ‘Āina, which means to take care of the land. My costume is inspired by Hawaii’s coral reefs. Coral reefs regulate the carbon dioxide levels in the atmosphere and help our ocean to produce 50-80% of Earth’s oxygen.
