The patterns of #arepasytamales 100 wearable sculptures were made in collaboration between Oscar Murillo (@lacachepli) and Juraj Straka's Textile Studio (@textilestudiojs). Straka’s Studio, based in Antwerp, Belgium, combines an in-depth knowledge of fabric and fashion designs. Attending to the principles of design, color, scale and ground, Straka developed unique patterns based on 14 motifs (animals, buildings, country, emoji, eyes, flags, mouths, mysterious S, pop culture, religion, sports, trees, vehicles, violence) from the Frequencies canvases archive.
