In collaboration with @goat - I interviewed several members of their team and created “Family Honor” featuring personal stories around freedom and the vast/ nuanced Black family experience. (Thank you Kayla Akil, Rodney Clowers, Chrissa Gaines & Marcel Swaby). • I’ve also had the honor to work with curator @essenceh and @eduardoseccigallery for “a question of vibrancy/ earthly sight”. My work “A Return to Earth” (2022) featuring my grandmother, Joyce, and intimated stories moments pasted against portals of fantasy. What a life!
