2022 • a year of change. according to numerology, this was my 5 year in the personal year cycle. the most paramount theme of the year is freedom. the 5 also signifies discovery, choice, resourcefulness and so much more. it’s the year of unexpected opportunities which i can attest is quite accurate. from going to the tony’s with @theebillyporter and meeting so many people i look up to (including my middle school crush), to my debut feature film @anythingismovie premiering on @primevideo, appearing on talk shows, winning a few awards (peabody, glaad, etc 💁🏽‍♀️) for my work with @vicenews, this year has been a whirlwind. during the 5 year, it’s easy to find oneself feeling quite lost and out of place at times. freedom is a privilege, but it can also be a major source of confusion. luckily i’ve had some pretty magical people holding me down and lifting me up. i wish i could tag everyone who’s had an impact on me this year in this post, but instagram is annoying. thank you to everyone who’s helped me along. i’ve been shown the power of community, perseverance and holding onto your dreams. i’ve got nothing but gratitude. can’t wait to see what 2023 brings 🫶🏽🤍🤍🤍
