Moments like these makes me think about the little Patricia - The nerdy, closeted, small-town girl who grew up with little to no representation of people like herself and honestly didn’t really look at herself as beautiful or powerful for the public eye but rather an outcast trying to find her way. I am blown away by all the love and support I have received with this cover but also throughout this journey going from being labeled as an ”alternative model” to just a model. I am so incredibly humbled to be able to embrace this space to keep pushing boundaries as the short, lesbian, androgynous and mixed latina-swede woman I am. So cliché, but if I can anyone can, really.
