I’ve been following @1000vases account and came across a video of pottery artist @karinasmagulov.a It was simple beautiful video of her creative process. I was intrigued, took a look at her work and it’s beautiful, read her biography and it’s interesting, so I’ve reached out to ask if I could take her portrait along with her working process. She has a little studio with beautiful light in Hackney Wick. We had a great time taking pictures, I’ve learn a lot and met very interesting artist. She also looks bad ass on the pictures!
