It’s Single Barrel Saturday! Time for a fresh crack on this special bottle. Our group @wrightcountywhiskeyclub secured the first ever single barrel of @nuluwhiskey in MN. The group picked an awesome Double Oak bourbon. It’s 7 years old and 5 months. This is so flavorful an explosion of burnt caramel, butterscotch, rich chocolate and sweet oak. This was a special pick because of the cause and Andy and @legacy2inspire Andy a friend of the group helped pick this barrel. Andy was diagnosed with a rare form of appendix cancer in 2019. Big thank you to @nuluwhiskey for bending over backwards for our group and dipping the wax in amber colored for the ribbon of appendix cancer instead of the normal blue wax. When this released to our group Andy got to enjoy a pour with everyone. A few weeks ago, Andy passed away and fought to the end.
