📣 JUST ANNOUNCED: 2023 EXHIBITIONS📣 We’re pleased to unveil our 2023 programme, including three new major exhibitions:

👷 ‘Ai Weiwei: Making Sense' (7 Apr–30 Jul 2023) will be the first to present his work as a commentary on design and will be an opportunity for visitors to see his work through a new lens. Tickets will be on general sale Wed 7 Sep 10am for the exhibition and his talk taking place on Tue 20 Sep with Tim Marlow, director of the Design Museum. 🥻‘The Offbeat Sari’ (19 May–17 Sep 2023) will unravel the sari’s numerous forms and bring together dozens of the finest contemporary saris from makers in India. 🛹The design evolution of the skateboard from the 1950s to today will be mapped out in our upcoming exhibition ‘Skateboard’ (20 Oct–25 Feb 2024) 🧠Due to popular demand, ‘WEIRD SENSATION FEELS GOOD: The World of ASMR’, presented in collab with our friends @arkdesc (and ft London’s first sausage pillow!), will be extended into Spring 2023.
