I get asked often HOW do you prioritize, initiate and execute family outings without it being the equivalent of going to the dentist... I was raised in an adventurous lifestyle and the 3 things that can make or break adventure to me are: 🧣 Comfort 🍌 Hunger/ Hydration ✨ Expectations If the kids are fed, hydrated, comfortable, and don’t feel their not meeting expectations (for example... we’re all guilty of telling them to move faster or else...) Then you are set up for an epic adventure. I can’t express the last point enough- IF youre taking the time to adventure with kids- always remember they are their own people, and they could probably care less if they meet a certain peak, destination etc They are going to remember that time with you- and how you treated them. So lower your expectations, roll with it, and when shit hits the fan- teach the kids to roll with it in a positive environment.
