Before I switched degrees I got “pick a path with your heart” three times in a ROW when eating fortunes cookies. So I changed degrees. Made some friends that were meant for me, cut off family members and came just one step closer to maybe being a happier person. I keep one of those slips of paper from one of the fortune cookies in the back of my phone case. I’ve been making a lot of choices with my gut ever since. Removing myself from places and people that feel weird or where I don’t feel 100% wanted. A year of transition or transformation. I think for the first time in two years I actually feel excited to start the next academic year. One because I now know how to choose better for myself and two because I just want to make another video of all the 0.5s I’ve taken.
