Along our journey with @indigenous.tourism.alberta we met up with my friend and mentor Tim Patterson, an Nle?kepmxcin man (interior Salish people) who offers an amazing seasonal experience on the Athabasca Glacier in conjunction with @athabascaglacier_icewalks whom he has partnered up with. This perspective is a new/old look at how we can view big ice. An Indigenous story that layers very well with the geologic and glaciological stories that have long been the prevailing narrative.
