Wow. What a scary day today was. For a second there I thought we had lost it all. Instagram, the most important thing in the world, was taken from us for 6 terrifying hours. For the first time in years, I was left with nothing but my thoughts to entertain me. And to be honest, it was awful. Never again do I want feel that level of independence. Never again do I want to be forced to form an original opinion without a meme telling me how to feel. Never again do I want to have thoughts that last more than 20 seconds without being interrupted by a bang energy model. Never again do I want to wonder if I’ll ever see a Chet Hanks Jamaican accent post again. From this day forward I will not take Instagram for granted. From this day forward I will post more regularly, with all of my heart. Because before you know it, it could be gone in an instant. I hope that today is a reminder to all of us that external stimulation that is largely out of your control, is the true source of happiness. God speed.
