Designs that are recognisably related, yet also unique and innovative! To add a contemporary touch to the classic image of @bulgari's new stores, we took the company's heritage as a starting point. All our designs in this partnership take inspiration from the portals and distinctive cornices on their very first store in Rome, which becomes a motif used as a common thread around the world. 💎⁠ ⁠ The precise form and materials used with this motif, however, are all different, allowing for some exciting experiments in architectural materials! In the IconSiam department store in Bangkok, elegance is the defining feature. The façade of brass gives a golden effect and creating a striking impression for visitors ascending the escalators, standing out even among the other luxury brands in a high-end area of the mall.⁠ ⁠ In Kuala Lumpur, veins of gold light illuminate a concrete and resin façade, reinterpreting the marble of Bulgari's history with a contemporary twist. The result is a façade that by day references organic materiality, while at night achieving a dramatic, electric effect.⁠ ⁠ In Shanghai, the cornice motif takes on another dimension, becoming instead an Art-Deco inspire pattern that references the 20th-century heritage of both Bulgari and Shanghai.
