Planks are one of the BEST Core Moves IMO - they allow us to strengthen & stabilize our own natural weight belt! So why donβt we do them more? Because they are HARD! They also need to be done correctly in order to TRULY maximize the benefit! Here is how to tweak your form for NEXT LEVEL gains πππ» 1. Make sure your elbows (or wrists for high plank) are directly under your shoulders 2. Start on knees & profess to toes 3. Lift up off your low back & hollow out through your armpits (think about pushing into the ground while simultaneously creating space in the thoracic spine) 4. Tuck your Chin so that the base of your neck is pushing up (not just dropping your head bringing chin to chest) - this allows you to maintain solid alignment! 5. Keep your hips stable, no rocking, and pull your belly button in tight (activate & tighten your transverse abdominals!)
