Our Yaya Vagelia never really had a fancy living room with expensive furniture. Her concrete front yard filled with plants and plastic chairs was all we needed. Family and friends would always gather, especially summer time, to eat her delicious foods made from local meats and seasonal vegetables harvested from her garden.
