Low key birthdays > I went back and forth on throwing a big themed birthday party and inviting everyone we knew. That guest list would have been 80-100 people. This year, that just felt overwhelming for me so instead we prioritized keeping it simple. I let him invite his 5 best friends. I didn’t do gift bags. There were no party decorations. No fancy cake. Just a simple play date (okay, maybe a little extra - thank you @museumoficecream for an aesthetic location that needed no decorations) where all we had to do was show up. It was perfect ☺️.
