Mid day timelapses, especially of waves and or trees, usually have choppy, aggressive, and chaotic movement that I’m not a huge fan of, which is why I usually avoid them completely. Alternatively, you can shoot these while using a VND filter. This is usually an exceptionally hard logistical challenge, especially with an iPhone, so most times I would also avoid that completely! The solution here shot with my @djiglobal #OsmoMobile6 using the DJI Mimo App was a simple custom Timelapse mode shot by presetting point A and point B set to shoot a photo every 5 seconds over the course of an hour. Then in software it’s effortlessly stitched together for you as a video! Not bad for a 30 second set up! Later I used software smoothing to calm down these choppy waves and palm tree shakes 🌊🌴 The softening was a bit intense but Fun little story post with a cool effect that separates and up levels your content above other people’s, which is so important in a market filled with competition!
