8th ICTVC 2022 | 20 years ICTVC! @ictvc_conference αλφαbéta Greek typeface design exhibition of Irene Vlachou’s (@irene_vlachou) class at the Type Design Master ECAL, Lausanne | 6–9 July Les yper yper (@yperyper) opening 6th of July | 8pm Coming from around the world (Lebanon, Jordan, Portugal, Israel, France, Germany, Switzerland, Hungary, China, South Korea) 13 Type Master students at ECAL, University of Art and Design of Lausanne, attempted to design Greek typefaces for the first time. Switzerland, being their point of connection, allowed them to start and grow their journey of understanding and expressing a new script. They overcame the challenges by understanding the aesthetical history of Greek typefaces and the calligraphic notions.
