#arepasytamales was shown for the first time at @artbasel Parcours, Basel, Switzerland, in the main hall of the USB Bank. This installation by Oscar Murillo (@lacachepli) of 100 mannequins wearing uniform sculptures draws from Murillo's interest in labour. Previously working with the figure of the mateos (papier-mâché figures dressed in the garb of factory and rural labourers) the design of work uniforms with motifs from the Frequencies canvases symbolises a sense of renewal and protection.
