Tomorrow starts the day for big change...not just for my eldest going off to High school or my youngest going off to reception but also the start of not having babies in the house during the day. It will be the first time in 11 years where I am left all on my own Monday to Friday during school hours. It’s the start of finding myself again. Getting a better work/life balance if I can and perhaps focusing slightly more on me time than I normally do which is so important. I am not going to lie one moment I am so excited for this next chapter and the next I am emotional and feeling the anxiety of being lonely all day alone. I work from home and am an expat which means most of the time my children are my only company. For a big people person like me I fear this can be good for me or not 🤨 I have always just worked on nights/ñ or weekends or waiting for doctor appts or sports games to start basically working around the kids. I wonder what it would be like when I don’t have to do it all in between...? Either way I know I have some excited little kiddies ready for their first days of school ahead.
