Dubai, China or Abu Dhabi for free? Most of us see a 23 hour long layover, when searching for a flight and be like HELLL NAWWWW!!! Dreading the thought of being in an airport THAT long. But many ppl don’t know about a resource by the airlines called a “transit accommodation”? With a “transit accommodation”, as long as your layover is between 8 hours and 24 hours the airline will provide you with a FREE HOTEL, FREE SHUTTLE, FREE 24 HOUR VISA and a MEAL VOUCHER!! FOR FREE!!! Yup, no waiting in airports, and most importantly, having fun, food, and shelter on the airline’s dime. So next time you see that long layover, call the airline (or google) to inquire if they offer a “transit accommodation” On my way to Africa, we stopped in Dubai for 23 hours. I got my FREE hotel, showered, took a nap and then woke up and toured Dubai for 24 hours. It was the perfect pregame before South Africa.
