our job has so many more rules than the physical act of “doing hair” It may have not always been this way, but in this day & age we must learn and adapt on - how to create impactful content - staying active on social media - updating ourselves on the latest trends - taking educational courses - having our phone on to schedule and respond most of the days (getting better at setting boundaries on this one) - becoming photographers - therapists - chemists - stocking color and inventory all the dang time! The list goes on 🫶🏻🤪 Oh also our backs hurt really bad lol. 🙏💕 but our jobs are WORTH IT. Just keep in mind next time someone says “it must be so fun to just get to do fun hair colors all day” that that is actually only one small part of our overall jobs! ✨
