I had a wonderful opportunity to share my testimony this weekend and I’m so grateful for it. Through each of our own lives we are given different struggles or obstacles we have to face, each of which have their own unique attributes that are different to the stories of others. In light of being able to share just part of my story, I realized how true God‘s timing is. As I shared my testimony, I started to realize how intertwined with the message Greg came to give us this weekend and coincidentally his message to follow covered the exact points we can fall into in our lives that my testimony could attest to. This weekend was truly special at Disciple Now as we covered how we are KNOWN by God and how because of his great gift we are given a spot somewhere where we don’t belong but he loves us so much, that he opens up a spot for us. Throughout the process of my growth as a Christian and a person, I have surrounded myself around the verse Ephesians 6:12-13 ““For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the cosmic powers over this present darkness, against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly places. Therefore take up the whole armor of God, that you may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand firm.” I feel like it is an important reminder for us to refrain from becoming distracted on worldly obstacles and setting our eyes on the one true living God
