I am so honored to be your Mrs. Queen of the World 2022 🥺💖⁣ ⁣ For the last 6.5 years it has been my dream to compete in a Mrs. pageant. But pageantry made it very clear that it wasn’t ready for a woman like me to wear another crown.⁣ ⁣ A woman with scars, a woman who isn’t perfect, a woman who has chosen an unconventional path for herself, a woman who can’t be told what she can or can’t do with her body, a woman who is Beauty Redefined.⁣ ⁣ But I could feel change coming. I see it all around me.. while it’s extremely slow progress, there is still progress - so although I was exiled from pageantry for quite a few years, I knew it had to be temporary and that someone would eventually see the dire need for change within the industry. A system that doesn’t just preach women empowerment, but truly celebrates and supports women of ALL walks of life. Then along came @mrsaliceleeg and I KNEW it was my time. Without hesitation, I signed up and became her first official contestant in the first Queen of the World pageant.⁣ ⁣ I’ve waited so long for this opportunity, I’ve held this dream in my heart for so long and not once have I ever given up on it. Every few months for the last 6.5 years, I checked the rules of EVERY Mrs. pageant system to see if I finally qualified and not once did that happen until now. I thought about reaching out to some to see if I could change their minds about what true women empowerment should mean.. but I decided I would rather wait my turn for a system to decide for themselves that they were ready to break the mold and I’m so glad I did.⁣ ⁣ Alice and Yus, thank you for your vision. Thank you for your trust in me. Thank you for being brave enough to break the mold. I promise to do you proud and be one of the best titleholders you will ever have! 💖⁣ ⁣ And to the World - I am not perfect. And I don’t want to be. I just want to continue striving to be the best version of myself for myself, my husband, our kids and the world they will inherit. I understand that alone is a journey and not a destination, but I’m ready for it and honored to be able to go on it as Mrs. Queen of the World 👑
