A year of ups and downs, wins, losses and full circle moments. A year of firsts and lasts. A pivotal year for the NWSL with record setting crowds, viewership and support; unfortunately paired with hard findings and painful moments. A completely new chapter for myself; a year of celebration and frustration all packed into one as a member of two noteworthy clubs. A history-making year for the Wave; massive wins, packed stadiums and falling just short of our hopes for the season. I’m so grateful for this past year. I’ve learned so much about myself, what I hope to bring to my team, and how doing something completely afraid can create beautiful opportunities. Amidst the rollercoaster of 2022, I have no qualms about the future of this sport and the women in it. This is just the beginning of lots of new chapters! Can’t wait for 2023 👀 🌊
