“Change the world by being yourself” 🌈 I know Christine and I are not the only ones in the LGBTQ+ community who get a little intimidated in public spaces at times. Thoughts can go through our heads of “can I hold my girlfriend’s hand here?” “are people going to stare?” “Is someone going to say something derogatory or sexually degrading to us as a couple?” These thoughts often come from the unfortunate reality that many LGBTQ+ people, us included, have faced harassment or discrimination in the past especially in public spaces such as hotels or pools. Everyone should feel free to be themselves whether that’s at home, in public, or traveling.
