June 15, 2022 :: I was invited with a small group of dancers to listen to @sushitrash’s new song, “Glimpse of us”, together for the first time, and then freestyle for each other. I love the challenge of reacting instantly to an unfamiliar song. I often improv on my own, but this was unique because I had never “performed” my improv for a group before. While I can see lots of holes and missed opportunities in my movement, I’m also proud that I committed to each choice.
