Today would have been my Nana, Evelyn Cynthia Stokes’ 91st birthday. Yesterday, we laid her to rest, knowing that her work on this earthly plain is finished. Today I continue to celebrate her life, finding comforting in knowing that it was a life so well lived. She was THE example of all that is good and right in this world. The legacy of love that she has left will live on through her children, grandchildren, great grandchildren and every person’s life whom she has touched. I AM FOREVER GRATEFUL FOR MY NANA!
