My first indoor season of track as a college athlete. An experience I wouldn't trade for the world. It had its ups and downs but I did the best I could with how I currently am and had a blast. I was so close to that 14 and just barely didn't make it but I'm still more than happy with 5th at conference freshman year. I was so excited to continue jumping at UMSL and go even farther in outdoor. Now UMSL has decided they don't want to continue with the program anymore. What a heart wrenching situation that doesn't feel real. I came to UMSL with the vision of building a program up to something incredible, and they didn't even wait for indoor to be finished before making up their mind. This program as already gone so far and they just don't want to care. Now all of the friends I have made on my team have to disperse against their will. No one wanted this, but we have to try all we can, there's a link in my bio to ask for signatures to promote reinstating Track at UMSL, please sign and share with anyone and everyone to help us get this amazing program back!
