let’s talk about something:
We live in a generation of people who want everything “now”
And that’s because technology is so advanced that it seems easier to get the things we want “now” or very quickly anyways...
And for some things that’s true,
But lets talk about the hours put in behind the convenance of things;
there’s always still a solid pattern behind the “now” and that will always be hard work, your choices, and persistence. Whether we see that on the surface or not as it’s easy to forget; it remains that that’s how people get where they have strived so hard to be..
So many outsiders see successful people at their peak and think “she’s so lucky” “how did she do that”
She did that by WORKING HARD AS FUCK, everyday.
Yep. And I know; it’s not easy with social media to avoid comparison, because so many people do show their “nows” their fractions of a moment of success, their happiest of moments.
But let this be your reminder; we all struggle to get where we busted our asses to be. You don’t see that online as much because it’s not the pretty part. Success is not a “now” thing. It’s not a “tomorrow I’ll be there” it’s a:
I’m going to work hard at this every fucking day, strive to be better at my craft, be unique, and keep trucking thing & not give up. And one day before you know, all that hard work becomes your “now” you’re “damn i made it”
You are finally at where you only dreamt of being 5 years ago.
How cool is that?
Imagine what can happen in the next 10?
Reminder that this social media shit can all really all go away but the beautiful soul @britneyspears once said: “they can take everything away from you, but they can never take away your truth”
Make your truth be your hard work ethic, because it can’t be bought or taught to you. You either have it or you don’t.
Know that nothing good happens overnight, Don’t get discouraged, don’t give up, keep going. Be the hardest worker in the room, and know that even then; there may always be someone out there working even harder than you.. be humble, and dedicate yourself to the things you want most in life.
Strive to be the best you + see what happens.
Food for thought. 🥂
