We came for Valentino and we stayed for showrooms, shopping, and champagne. We made new friends, previewed & preordered extraordinary pieces for clients, saw a few brilliant exhibitions and sprinkled in a few fab touristy moments. Paris—it had been too long!! You’ve been my favorite place since I was a tiny reading Madeline, watching and rewatching Passport to Paris (hello @therow ) and Funny Face (bonjour @givenchy ). And when I think about my early obsession with this city—it remains the same—it’s all about the creating, preserving and expanding the beautiful. Fashioning images that reflect and honor the most true and gorgeous version(s) people will always be my purpose. This week was more than a work trip—it was a fulfillment of a goal—it was full circle and fulfilling.
