I had the opportunity to represent Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) at the @palmacolectiva wellness pop-up this past weekend. While many of the participants craved a how-to tutorial, I primarily focused on what is and what is not the practice of facial gua sha. How to make the connection between predatory marketing and those that are not rooted in the authenticity of Chinese medicine. How to understand your own beauty story and make sense of the true intentions of facial gua sha. Why it is important to be accountable as both a consumer and your own caregiver.
