Hamlet also agrees with me that it’s none of our business to tell you what to do whilst blood flows from your vaginas. I could pull up research papers on athletic performance during menstruation, and I could give you anecdotal evidence for/against deloading around menstruation... but none of it would change your personal experience and I can’t perceive your pain.
Something that I should have expanded on is that if you’re training for athletic competitions, then you’re going to have to suck it up - a deadline waits for no one.
There are also certain sports that only have a small window of opportunity for peaking, and that’s another case where you’d definitely have to suck it up and do your best. (After all, you spent weeks and weeks building up to your peak, so you might as well go for it).... But if you’re just training to train, there’s no reason why you can’t proactively pull it back.
