Cute lil b+w test shoot with a photographer I have admired for quite some time, A Klass, aka @transnormativity It was a pleasure + an honor to be before your lens! I have zero experience being in front of someone else’s camera and was quite nervous due to my own insecurities but A is a pro + kept it cute, comfy, fun and quick! I was thinking about how I used to take more photos of myself pre-HRT. Instead of documenting the physical changes to my body while on hormones, I have repeatedly told myself, “once you *get hot* THEN you will be comfortable taking photos of yourself / making photos with others.” It’s so silly because we only have *now.* However, now that I have the clearance from my surgeon to work out, I am looking forward to getting my body + mind more aligned for the first time in my adult life which I believe will bring back the confidence that I once had and then some. It is a marathon, not a sprint. One day at a time...💞
